Getting Started
You start in front of your home with a barely-working car in the garage, and one goal: hit the road. This is the full step-by-step for a brand-new player.
1 · Fix up your car
In your home garage you'll find a Dada in a sorry state, missing many parts. Check the front and back of the house for car parts you can install. Grab an item with left-click, move the cursor onto the matching spot until the tooltip reads "ATTACH", then left-click to fit it. Tip: there is always a car radio on the first table by the left wall. Then grab the sponges, brushes or spray-paint cans from the basket on the left wall to clean and paint the car.
2 · Fill the fluids
Open the hood (hover over it, hold left-click and move the mouse up) and check the engine and radiator. You want water in the radiator and engine oil in the engine — empty them if that's not the case. Unscrew the white cap with left-click, unmount the part with right-click, then hold middle-click to tip it upside-down and drain it. Refill with water and oil found in containers around the house.
3 · Start and drive
Make sure the essentials are attached — engine, radiator, battery, a seat, ignition, shifter, and wheels with tires — and the tank has the right fuel. Then start the engine and drive beyond horizons.
Tips
Any part can be swapped between vehicles, so don't worry about mixing — just get the car running first, then improve it as you find better parts.
Supplies to bring
- Thirst and hunger meters at the bottom left slowly drain, so stock up before leaving.
- Kitchen (through the door from the garage) — grab all the food and soda cans from the table, floor, and counter.
- Fridge — grab the energy drink.
- Bedroom — grab the first aid kit; there is also a radio there if you want to listen to it.
- Keep the water canister after filling the engine parts — water quenches thirst, so throw it in the trunk for the road.
- Items placed in the car will not fly out even if it has no doors.
