Secrets & Easter Eggs

Drive Beyond Horizons hides several secrets and Easter eggs across the world. A few to look out for:

Paink & Perracid flyer

In the left room of the California Motel, on the coffee table, sits a "Paink & Perracid" flyer — a nod to "Laink & Terracid", a duo of French YouTube streamers known for their drawn avatars, which the flyer parodies.

Around the road

Other nods are tucked around the world, including a reference on the speed bump. Keep an eye out as you explore — new ones are added over time.

WTC38 DVD

A "WTC38" DVD references the "What The Cut" reaction video series by French YouTuber Antoine Daniel, which reacted to early WTF YouTube videos with jokes. The gap between episodes kept growing and the series ended in 2016 with the 37th episode. Fans jokingly still wait for episode 38, hence the DVD's name.

Jus de Mynthos drink

A "Jus de Mynthos" drink references YouTube streamer Mynthos, whose inside joke is that he is a "gamer juteux" (juicing/juicy gamer). There may be another Mynthos Easter egg, possibly a billboard. Mynthos and Antoine Daniel are streamers based in Montpellier, France (as of August 2025), the same town some of the game's developers come from.

Small pallet number

A small pallet has the number "38565" printed on it three times, with unclear meaning.

Other secrets

  • Random phone calls can be answered.
  • A teddy bear with a QR code leads to a 4-second YouTube video of a piece of bread falling over.
  • UFOs appear as Easter eggs, including a radio tower UFO and a UFO kidnapping (abduction).
