Lights

Lights are vehicle parts attached to each light slot to light the road as you drive. All lights require a car battery to work.

Notes

Categories include headlights (front, sometimes with turn signals), tail lights, and others. Some headlights integrate turn signals.

Headlights

Go on the vehicle's front, above the front bumper, and sometimes on the grille. Some headlights include turn signals.

Taillights

Also called tail lights or tail lamps. Go on the vehicle's rear, usually above the rear bumper. Include lights for braking, reversing, turning, and license plate illumination, in various combinations.

Turn Signals

Also called indicators or blinkers. Go on the vehicle's front and rear, usually above the bumpers, and are only for turning (unlike a taillight, which may include a turn signal). Hazard lights are when both front and back turn signals (including any on a taillight) blink/flash together.

Interior Lights

Go inside the vehicle's cabin — usually on the underside of the roof as dome lights — or on the hood or trunk.

Neon Tubes

Found at POIs (exclusively the radio tower) and can be attached under a vehicle at the front, rear, and sides. Tubes automatically resize based on the attach point (the side position is longer) and also when taken from the radio tower. They are usually grey when found unlit (unattached), change color when attached, and can be colored with spray paint. When unattached again a tube usually keeps its color visually, but sometimes reverts to grey (possibly after loading a game), though it should keep its spray-painted color.
